Nearly 4 years ago, Akaki Kakhetelidze joined AESOLAR with no background in solar energy — just curiosity, ambition, and a strong desire to challenge himself. What began as a leap into a new industry quickly turned into a meaningful and fulfilling journey of personal and professional growth. “What attracted me most was the opportunity to grow in a fast-developing and meaningful field, one that not only drives innovation but also contributes to a more sustainable future.”

From his first days, Akaki felt the difference not just in the work, but in the people around him. Today, Akaki serves as the Regional Sales Team Leader for the European region, a position that reflects both his hard work and the growth he’s achieved since joining the company. “Every day brings something new,” Akaki says. “There are always new tasks, new challenges, and new lessons. It keeps me motivated and helps me develop as a professional and as a person.”
A Culture That Respects Everyone
For Akaki, one of the strongest reasons to stay has been AESOLAR’s values, especially its deep respect for people. “Whether someone is in top management or just starting out, there is mutual respect and professionalism.” That culture of inclusiveness and professionalism, he says, builds a workplace where people are empowered to do their best work. “It’s one of the key reasons I’ve remained committed to AESOLAR.”
From Georgia to Europe
Now serving as Regional Sales Team Leader for the European Region, Akaki leads with calm confidence, grounded in the same values that shaped his start. His promotion to the role marked a meaningful milestone. “It was a very special moment for me. It showed that my efforts were recognized and appreciated. It gave me confidence and inspired me to continue pushing forward.” As a Georgian working in a diverse international environment, Akaki describes his journey with AESOLAR in one word: adventure. “Every day, I interact with people from different cultures and business backgrounds. It’s exciting and educational.” It’s often during informal moments, a friendly chat after a long negotiation, that real partnerships take root.

Partners, Not Clients
For Akaki, business is personal. He doesn’t see those he works with as customers; he sees them as collaborators.
“I don’t view the people I work with as clients or customers, I see them as partners, and often, as friends.” This relationship-first mindset drives his success in building strong, long-term cooperation grounded in trust, communication, and mutual growth. “My goal is to understand their needs, communicate openly, and work together toward shared success. That’s what creates real value.”
Recharge and Motivation
Outside the office, Akaki finds balance in simplicity, time with family and friends, and friendly competition on the padel court. “Being around loved ones helps me relax and stay balanced. I also enjoy playing Padel with friends, it clears my mind and gives me energy, even after a busy day.” When asked what keeps him motivated, Akaki shares two driving forces: a hunger for self-improvement, and the support of someone who’s always by his side. “First is my desire to always improve. And second, my wife. She is my biggest supporter. Her encouragement and belief in me help me grow not only as a professional, but as a person.”

Final Word
Akaki Kakhetelidze’s journey at AESOLAR reflects what’s possible when dedication meets opportunity in the right environment. His story is one of continuous learning, meaningful relationships, and a passion for progress, both personal and shared. “It’s more than just a job; it’s a place where values matter, people are respected, and every day is a step forward on an exciting path.”
