Not only do tests show hailstones disintegrating upon impact, but third-party results from TÜV Rheinland also confirm no visual defects and minimal power degradation after hailstone impacts.

This test subjects the module to extreme impacts: 40mm hailstones, producing over 11.1J of energy, impacting the module at 16 different points. With its 6005-T6 high-strength anodized aluminum alloy frame, the Alpine Series withstands wind loads up to 3600Pa — equivalent to wind speeds of 171.33 mph (275.73 km/h). This is critical as hailstorms are often accompanied by winds exceeding 120 mph (193.12 km/h).
