Regensdorf, Zurich – KIBAG , Switzerland’s leading construction materials group, has commissioned a 1.254 MW rooftop solar installation at its Regensdorf recycling facility. The system, developed by our partner Swiss Renewable Solutions , utilizes 2,787 AESOLAR METEOR AE450CMER-96BDS modules with G12R cell. According to KIBAG, this is "one of the largest rooftop solar projects in the Canton of Zurich," directly powering operations across their 48,000 m² site, and has been seamlessly integrated into the grid.

The installation is projected to generate approximately 1.4 GWh of clean electricity annually. By producing electricity on-site, KIBAG minimizes transmission losses and enhances energy reliability, setting a benchmark for industrial-scale renewable energy integration.
