August 2024 - AESOLAR proudly announces that our N-type TOPCon PV module METEOR have been awarded the esteemed French Carbon Footprint Evaluation Carbone simplifiée (ECS) Certification. This significant milestone underscores AESOLAR’s commitment to environmental sustainability and adherence to the highest industry standards.
The French Carbon Footprint ECS certification is an authoritative requirement set by the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) for photovoltaic products seeking entry into the French market. This certification, granted by Certisolis, the exclusive laboratory authorized by the CRE to certify the energy performance of photovoltaic products, is a crucial endorsement for photovoltaic projects exceeding 100kWp.
AESOLAR's N-Type module METEOR achieved this certification by meeting the rigorous standards of the ECS, which measures the direct and indirect carbon emissions from the entire production process and upstream transportation, including polysilicon, ingots, wafers, cells, and auxiliary materials. AESOLAR's METEOR modules, with the series' carbon emissions as low as 386 kg ep CO₂/kWc, boast a remarkable carbon emission rating far below the requirement of 550 kg eq CO₂/kWc set by CRE. This certification is a testament to AESOLAR’s unwavering commitment to promoting environmentally friendly practices across the entire industrial chain. AESOLAR not only meets but surpasses industry standards, reinforcing our dedication to sustainability.
METEOR's outstanding performance and low carbon emissions highlight AESOLAR's role as a leader in the photovoltaic industry. Notably, METEOR excels not only in low carbon emissions but also in its power generation capabilities and reliability. In PV Magazine’s June outdoor module test released last week, METEOR achieved the highest energy yield, ranking first among all participating TOPCon and HJT modules.
AESOLAR is proud to lead the charge in the low-carbon development of solar PV products. We believe that every sunrise marks a step closer to a sustainable future. Each ray of sunlight we harness through our advanced solar panels brings us nearer to a cleaner, greener world.
