In the heart of Bangkok's Khlong Toei Slum, a new community library, equipped with solar panels, has become a hub of light, learning, and hope. Opened just a month ago, the library now shines as a sustainable beacon in this underserved neighborhood, offering local children and families a safe, well-lit space to read, learn, and connect.

Thanks to the newly installed solar system, the library saves approximately 12,000 baht each month, allowing these funds to be re-invested into educational resources and community programs. For the residents of Khlong Toei, where daily life often means facing economic and environmental challenges, these savings mean more opportunities and resources that can make a real difference.
At the project’s completion handover ceremony, a community representative shared heartfelt words with us and the foundation, saying, “We never thought something like solar panels could be a part of our lives.” In Khlong Toei, the library now stands as more than just a building; it’s a safe haven, a learning center, and a sustainable resource that continues to inspire everyone who enters. As residents alike experience the library, its impact continues to grow, lighting the way for a brighter, more hopeful future in the community.
AESOLAR’s mission is to bring sustainable energy to communities in need, and projects like these are only the beginning. Thanks to everyone involved in making this project a success. We hope to inspire more people to recognize that solar power isn’t just a technology—it’s a way to improve lives and connect people globally through shared values. As we continue on this path, we are grateful for the amazing partners we’ve encountered along the way—BCHF, AERO, EcoTech Part, and Jeroen of Global Travel Mate—and look forward to even greater collaborations ahead.
